Wedding – Chad & Genea | Olives & Plates

Two weeks ago I had the great privilege of photographing Chad & Geneas beautiful wedding day. When I met Genea at the beginning of the year it felt like I had found a long lost friend – her vibrancy, amazing energy and beauty was inspiring and her laugh was contagious. I could not wait to capture their special day. Genea got ready at the beautiful Winston Hotel in Rosebank – the most incredible boutique hotel with wonderful charm and the perfect spot for photos 🙂 Geneas mom made her dress – yes you heard right, that beautiful lace dress was hand made by her mom – amazing. This Wedding is definitely one for the memory books especially the dancing that happened when Genea & Chad walked into the reception venue. The energy and atmosphere was electric!!!

Mr & Mrs Tahini it was a true blessing to be able to capture your special day for you.

The ceremony and reception was held at Olives and Plates – a beautiful restaurant in an old manor house under ancient Oak Trees on the grounds of the Wits University – perfect for a Spring Wedding.

Wits Main Campus is a treasure trove of beautiful locations perfect for photographs – and I had the best models 🙂

The Horas that ensued on the arrival of the lovely couple was INCREDIBLE to watch and be apart of. I have never seen such excitement, energy, vibrancy and fun in one small place. It was the perfect way to start the evening! Venue of Bridal Portraits: Winston Hotel
