It’s funny how life often goes in circles – Nadine and I went to high school together and hadn’t seen each other since we left. That was all to change when she sent me an email asking me to shoot her wedding. I was so excited that I was going to see an old school friend again and I had the amazing opportunity to capture their special day. It was a morning wedding with a lovely tea held afterwards. Nadine prepared for her big day at Waterfall Cottages in Craighall, a beautiful location in the suburbs.
The ceremony was held at the Rosebank Union Church and after the vows we snuck the newlyweds off to a park across the road for the couple shoot – you would never believe that it took place in the middle of Sandton! Nadine made the flowers which were fashioned from paper, an idea she got out of the Ideas magazine, and looked gorgeous! I just loved how intimate and relaxed the day was. It was about the love they shared and the start of their marriage. The happy couple left straight from the church for the Gautrain station, and onward to their honeymoon.
Thank you Dean and Nadine for such a lovely morning.
Thank you to Jeanette for being such an incredible second shooter
