Today marks the start of our little holiday together. We are starting off with a 3 day trip to the Midlands for a friends wedding. It sounds silly but one of my favourite things is driving with Ross anywhere. Just us two – we talk, we laugh, we sing at the top of our voices and its a form of quality time together – it is funny how 5 hours is not that long when I am with him.

We found this lovely accommodation called Twin Pools Accommodation in the area known as Balgowen. They have beautiful little rooms with a kitchenette and patio to look at the view. (Life in Africa is amazing)

Once we had unpacked and settled in we went to St.Ives for lunch. It looked very fancy when we arrived and we were slightly intimidated – but the food was scrumptious and the view of their lake was calming – was a lovely relaxed afternoon together.
