Wedding – Curtis and Rebecca | Leafy Greens

It’s funny how life works – at primary school I had incredible friends who I am still very friendly and last weekend I had the opportunity of photographing my friends sisters wedding. It was really special being able to see everyone again and capture Becky’s special day. When I met Becky and Curtis to chat about their day – I walked away feeling like this wedding wasn’t about the white dress but more about celebrating family and friends and the start of their marriage. They got married in the forest at the bottom of the Casalinga property. Wedding – Clinton and Angi | Moon and Sixpence

On Saturday I assisted Jeanette Verster at a wedding at Moon and Sixpence in Muldersdrift. Clinton and Angi are from South Africa but now live in the States. It was pretty cold but a photographers dream with beautiful, moody, cloudy sky’s and gorgeous light. Angi and Clinton were so relaxed and they laughed and smiled all day...

Personal – The Fat Olive Market

Today we went to a new market in Muldersdrift area called The Fat Olive Market. It is held at the Fat Olive restaurant. There is a beautiful fountain in the courtyard of the restaurant and there are stalls all around this courtyard. There were a few stalls including Lime Green Bean and Balm Balm. They also sold the most amazing fresh bread (Thanks to Jenty for telling us about it :-)) – we bought the rosemary and coarse salt bread and have been eating it all day....
