Event – Loreal Luxe | Sandton

Model, Fashion, Ramp, Runway, Gauteng, Johannesburg, Event, Corporate, Photo, Photographer, Urban Tree, Loreal,

Last night I had the privilege of helping Eunice Driver at an event run by Loreal for their luxury department. It was my first time being exposed to fashion and luxury brands as a photographer. It was an incredible event held at Urban Tree in Sandton. The main brands were Lancome, Kiehls, Diesel, Giorgio Armani, Yvest Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren and Cacharel. The roof of the venue was converted into a roof top garden – it was beautiful to see the view of the city while the sun sets. Each brand had a stand that allowed you to test/try their products. It was an olfactory overload with the most beautiful fragrances being...

Event – Cherry’s Kitchen Tea |Randburg

Cherry Kitchen Tea, Lifestyle Johannesburg Photographer, Johannesburg Event Photographer, Beautiful Simple Kitchen Tea

On Saturday the 8th of September it was my very special friends Kitchen Tea. I am one of her bridesmaids and I am so excited for her wedding on the 23rd of September (only 2 weeks to go  🙂 ) We held her Kitchen Tea at Munch in Ferndale. Thank you to the team there for being so amazing with the service and the yummy food. We had a wonderful afternoon filled with lots of laughter and great memories. We organised a “quiz” for Cherry – including questions on her Fiance, housewife questions, coffee tasting, culinary skills, spice tasting and identifying some gorgeous men. Every time she got a question wrong we...

Johannesburg Engagement Photographer, Pimento Restaurant Illovo, Johannesburg Event Photographer, South African Event Photographer, Johannesburg Engagement Photo, Ali and Reece

Alison and Reece got engaged in Turkey while on holiday (how romantic <3) when they returned they had a very intimate and special night with their family and friends at Pimento, Illovo. This quaint little restaurant was the perfect place for a relaxed and fun Engagement Party. The pizzas were overflowing out of the kitchen and Ali had prepared a very scrumptious cake and sweet table filled with hand made decedant cupcakes and the most amazing tasting Cake Pops. To top the evening off their were two incredible musicians who played and sang beautifully – I adored their music, they really helped create the perfect atmosphere for a great party....

8 July 2012

Last week Hubby and I went to watch a show at The Old Mutual Concert in Sandton – This show was incredible – really messed with your mind. Part of the show we had to wear these 3D glasses to see a Lucid Dream. I found these in my bag and had to experiment with the colours.  ...

Personal – Love and Revolution | Melville

We were given an amazing book – “Spaces and Places Johannesburg”. It has all the great spots to see in JHB – restaurants, markets, parks etc. If you live in Johannesburg do yourself a favour and buy this book. Ross and I have decided we want to try do as many things as possible in this book. On Saturday we went to a a very quaint coffee shop on 7th Avenue – Melville called Love and Revolution. It had lovely coffee, a yummy squishy chocolate cake (as the owner called it) plus free Wi-Fi if you are interested. We then went to a tiny little organic market on top of...

Event – St. Stithians Matric Dance | Bryanston

There is something so exciting about a matric dance. The men looking handsome in their tailored suits and shiny shoes and the girls looking breathtaking in their dresses with their hair and makeup done immaculately. It is so different from any other fancy dress up event, there is an energy and excitement that no other event has. I love seeing the girls dresses. I was asked to take photographs of the couples at their predrinks before they left for the Matric Dance at St. Stithians. These were a great bunch of boys – I was very impressed to see how well they looked after their dates during the evening but still...
