Red City Bus

On Saturday morning I joined the Cameraland team and a whole bunch of incredibly talented people on the Red City Bus tour sponsored by Cape Town. What a joy, riding on an open bus on the perfect summers morning through beautiful Cape Town. Cameraland arranged this event for their loyal Canon customers and influencers. I have always used Canon and I love them. We all met at the Cameraland store (opposite the Red City Bust) where I met some incredibly inspirational people who were joining the adventure. As the quote says – it’s not about the destination it’s about the journey. The scenery spotted from the rooftop of the bus...

Little Faith in Bokaap

Little Faith in Bokaap with her incredible parents. Faith is a bundle of sunshine at 18 months young. She is chatting away and walking/ running everywhere. One Saturday morning we spent time in the Bokaap area of Cape Town taking some casual family photos of this gorgeous family of three with multi-coloured backgrounds. Faith is the apple of their eye and a little girl who knows what she wants (even if that is the box of bran flakes that you may see featured in some pics). I love the colour of Bokaap and the quaint houses with some modern design elements. It was such a fun Saturday out. Faith you...

Anneke from Annapatat designs and makes the most wonderful collection of little girls clothing. The beautiful fabrics and patterns create timeless elegance while still keeping some childhood whimsical fun for the little girls to enjoy while wearing Annapatats little masterpieces. Annapatat Spring Range this year includes a light powder outfit inspired by the movie Frozen. The soft layered skirt with polka dots pairs with a sleeveless tshirt. I adore this little set and think it is a beautiful little outfit fit for a princess. I love this little swan (which is almost as big as her) from LoLaLi...

Couch Armrest table

Today I introduce a quick-and-easy DIY to make a couch armrest table. Weekends and evenings are made for cuddling on the couch, watching Romantic Comedies under a fluffy blanket and drinking your favourite hot drink. As wonderful as drinking hot beverages are, you need to put it down once in a while. On my couch, a cup would never stay upright due to the puffy nature of the padding and material, I hated getting up to put it on the table. If you know the struggle of laziness then I am here to help you. What you will need for this DIY Measuring tape Wood – your choice of wood....

BLU RADISSON SEA POINT

Hotel rooms can be dark and boring and have grandmother inspired curtains and upholstery. The rooms at the Blu Radisson in Sea Point, however, have been redone and exude elegance, sophistication, and comfort. I love the neutral colour palette with hints of blue mimicking the ocean and the wood and metal combination with touches of South African beauty in the black and white prints....
